On a side note, I am sure your personal grooming is top notch & if need be, maybe review any betterment possible. Oh, yeah, I’ve been flying international for years and Lufthansa is the Glenn Gould Active shirt and by the same token and worst. It’s better now than some years ago after 9/11 when a flight attendant demanded I leave the bathroom because she thought I was in there too long (I wasn’t), or when they’d bark at Indians while being friendly to white passengers, but I still don’t like it. A French air hostess in Air France was very nice to me when I first traveled to US, not so good treatment in British Airways even in business class. KLM was decent, no complaints. I do not want interactions to be violent and i expect to be discriminated against. At Schipol, I saw some guy push a bunch of Sikhs to move forward. Direct push no asking or anything. At Laguardia I remember during a crowded day again some American laying hands on an older Sikh gentlemen, he openly told him not to touch him. Maybe these instances are coincidental. > She said no as it’s premium economy and I’m in economy. I didn’t think much of it until another white lady asked the same thing and got offered the seat there. I was a bit awestruck by it.

To be fair, there are quite a few other seats in Economy that you pay more for, she could have paid for a better seat and moved to a like for like seat. I just want to add I’ve flown Lufthansa in Economy, Biz and First – and the Glenn Gould Active shirt and by the same token and general flight crew who are German are generally quite stoic and can come across as unfriendly. Sometimes they have younger crews who are more friendly. Once a male cabin crew member who I thought was quite unfriendly offered to give me a tour of the plane when I expressed admiration in the 747 to Bangalore and how I hadn’t flown it in a while. You never know. Travelled many times and never seen such things. Germans are not known for providing good service, but Lufthansa is okay. It’s a decent airline with a direct connection to major Indian cities. It takes around 8 to 9 hours, and due to so many people using a limited number of toilets, it becomes dirty and they might be irritated. Maybe you are just unlucky.
