1,196 more repliesI’ve been here for a couple of years now after moving from the Funny ajr Lemons Rainbows shirt Furthermore, I will do this Mexican border and I’m starting to lose hope. Thanksgiving is coming up and I’ve been viciously homesick lately. I’ve been to the well knowns – Homies on donkeys, Mestizos, El Camion, etc. All have fine food, but it’s hardly Mexican aside from the decor and inclusion of tortillas. Birria is meant to be goat stewed underground for hours on end, not cheap beef with consomme made from bullion, guys. Wahaca was the exception as it was also just bad food and had little Mexican influence. Has anybody found a niche spot or somewhere I’ve overlooked with great food? I’m willing to go for anything from a taco truck to a posh spot, please give some recommendations!

Edit: You guys are amazing! I have a ton of great recommendations to check out over the Funny ajr Lemons Rainbows shirt Furthermore, I will do this coming months. With all the wonderful food and people in this city, I’m positive that at least one of them will scratch the itch. Thank you all so muchMexican here, the best I’ve tasted so far are sonora taqueria and la chingada First I’m hearing of Sonora taqueria, definitely going to add it to my list of spots, thanks man! That’s a few people already saying la chingada and the from the name alone it sounds legit Also if you’re looking for special occasion Mexican food.. Santiago Lastra has a British Mexican fusion restaurant called Kol and it is honestly amazing. I have been to La Chingada a few times – IMO it’s the only Mexican food I’ve had in the UK that comes anywhere close to what you’d find in Mexico.
