An intensive meditation retreat like this is highly inadvisable for someome with CPTSD. I recommend a more gentle approach that places as its priority an understanding and compassion for your condition. I’m CPTSD and my first Goenka retreat was very potent medicine and critical to my healing journey. It was extremely difficult at times and I had to face some heavy anxiety – but also got to see it, accept it, let it pass. That said, I don’t have outright panic attacks, and got clearance from my shrink and from a meditation teacher. Most people have not meditated long enough outside a retreat wherein they would be ready for a 10 day retreat.
