I hesitate to generalize but getting older made me realize there isn’t some time based threshhold where you no longer have problems, or aren’t worried or tired. You could be sent a million dollars right now and fix all your present problems, and you’ll find new problems. Look for ways to increase your income, even just getting a Google certification in project management/tech/HR or something could help land you a job. Your life doesn’t have to revolve around a career though. You’re exactly where you need to be, expect good things and they will come!

Edit to add that it’s never helpful to compare yourself to other people. You have your own learning journey. Also I hope 27 isn’t halfway through life lol Yes it’s ok as long as your providing for and supporting yourself. If you’re in your late 20’s and MUST have someone else to get by in life, you’re falling far behind. There’s going to be people more successful than you. But on the flip side, there are tons of people doing worse than you are. Dude, I work with a Pharmacist making god knows how much money, love her to death but a couple months ago she was panicking over only having $700 in her bank account after she has everything paid. And the credit card debt she has, she just wants to pay it down faster, obviously she can afford whatever payment but her panic was just because she wanted it paid down sooner. I got a credit card, spent some money now I’m going to try to pay it off by Christmas because it’s under $300 so it’s a small amount. You just gotta start somewhere. Whether it’s organizing your eating habits, getting a skin care routine, putting $10 a pay period in savings or just being more organized in general. If there’s something you want, you gotta take the first small step. And don’t worry about “catching up” my dad died at 53 with no life insurance and not a penny to his name, I’m at a much better place than he ever was his whole life (besides maybe the time between him getting out of prison and meeting my mom) we’re all going at different paces and we don’t all start off with same hindrances or help.
