Because as a kid I might go days, weeks with no meals cooked, no laundry done, no help with homework or care about us bathing/brushing our teeth. Now I’m 28 with dentures(which I obviously take much better care of) and no idea how to actually cook regular like adult meals daily (cooking isn’t hard it’s the thinking of meals and figuring out what ingredients I need and everything, it’s mentally exhausting) . But outside of that, I’ve avoided those other bad habits I could have gotten into and I’m pretty lucky

I’m pushing 30 with a wife and baby and still don’t know what the fuck I’m doing most of the time, just winging it trying to be as resourceful loving and caring as possible along the way
