I settled into a uniform consisting of neutrals and deep jewel tones. Tops: striped Ts, button downs, chunky sweaters. Bottoms: super skinny black jeans and super wide leg pants. Shoes: cool sneakers or a Chelsea boot. Tunic vs cropped sweaters or Barbie pink vs dusty rose? I’m 5′, so finding flattering clothes is hard. I can’t swap them out every year because some runway columnist says it’s not cool anymore. I’m definitely someone who’s gone through distinct phases. I went to private school up until middle school, and coming out of that I was Very Angry about skirts and dresses for a while.
