I will add one thing relevant to the Final boss bundle guild wars 2 secrets of the obscure 2023 shirt Also,I will get this post above, and to the discussion of religion overall. The only mistake the people above made is they never said what their idea of religion is. Which could’ve been OP picking reblogs, which I wouldn’t put over them. Religion, when it comes down to it, is rules about what to do and what not to do, reinforced by a “father” figure. If you look at research done into ancient religions, they seem to follow the same lines: a “father” figure (Zeus, Horus, Odin [tho the Egyptian parallel is hard due to how their religion works, could also be Ra or Osiris]) that is the scary bad guy that you must follow or bad things will happen, and “mother” figure that cares and keeps secrets, and sometimes breaks the rules (Hera, Isis, Frigg). Most religions have gods/goddesses that represent other archetypes, but most of them follow this basic guideline. Now, side note, the Abrahamic God is just a father figure, with no mother figure in sight.

Now. We live in a modern society. We do not need fantastical figure to tell us what to do anymore. We have things like nationalism and patriotism and capitalism to worship now. And we don’t need a God telling us what right and wrong is, because we now have the Final boss bundle guild wars 2 secrets of the obscure 2023 shirt Also,I will get this brainpower to figure that out. Therefore, these religions ARE outdated. Hell, the Egyptian gods were WAY longer lasting than the Abrahamic God. Do we worship them and listen to the words they wrote and spoke? No. Because their practices are outdated. So maybe, so are the ones of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Belief based on adherence to higher authority isn’t inherently bad, but is easily used by bad actors to stoke fascism, hatred and division. Being raised in any practice that tells you to disbelieve objective truth in favor of doing what you’re told by a power you were told holds authority over you makes it easier for people in those positions of authority to lead you down bad paths. In America right now around 30% of the populace has placed a serial liar in that position of authority because he said the right words to them, so they have placed themselves in his basket because that is how they were raised, to always listen to authority even when it is known to be factually untrue. It may not always be abusive, but it primes people to be irrational and reactionary, which as we have seen in the past 7-8 years can be incredibly harmful.
