Let’s say bees can sense the rotation of the earth, how would that be able to indicate that it’s 4pm? Surely gravitational forces are the same, all the time? Imagine not only having to be a bee and all the hard work that involves, but also potentially being late for something and the other bees knowing. bees cant fly at night because they need light from the sun to navigate, so i dont understand how they recreated it in the dark Makes me wonder what scale this behavior is operating on. Are individual bees capable of perceiving the passage of time on their own? Because bee does not live long enough to even learn the concept of math, timing, and measurement to understand the concept of time. I think it’s just his internal clock. I think a lot of animals have some sort of internal clock. Growing up, every time my mom would almost be home from work (she would walk), our dog would go up to the Everybody Wants Something Zit Remedy shirt and by the same token and window and get excited.
