This is so me rn. Now I still like to dress with a lot of colors, but they are more subdued, and even neutral sometimes, and I will mix a colorful pattern with a solid. Now that I can shop online it’s easier to find chic, unique pieces (think printed abstract art patterns, asymmetrical styles, unusual textures). I still like to be different and have my own sense of style, but it’s more put together now, also traded my chonky plastic jewelry for dainty fine jewelry. I know that’s exactly what was asked, but principal change in my relationship with fashion from teenage to 30ish is about ethic. I don’t buy fast fashion anymore, I go for second hand in first intention, and I didn’t give a penny to compagnies whish use child labor or slavery those last ten years. I generally just don’t know what to wear anymore. The trends haven’t been flattering to my body type in probably 5-10 years and I can never find things I like. I tend to wear a lot of t-shirts because it’s all I can find tolerable. I know people hated it but when empire waist shirts and dresses were in style, I had so so many cute outfits that I could throw together and look nice, didn’t make me look like a trapezoid, didn’t cling to my stomach, showed that I actually have a waist. Now? Idfk, I wear the same thing all the time, graphic t-shirts with a loose cardigan.
