OTOH, my grandmother refused to believe Liberace was gay, so I guess maybe that level of willful ignorance does exist. I did have gay friends in school, but for the Ed Kemper Mugshot Art T-Shirt in other words I will buy this most part I had no gaydar. Probably because I was/am autistic. Since I have been working on my social skills (ie, after I realized I was autistic), I’ve been better at figuring it out. I know now that more of my family members and friends are queer. My mom used to disapprove, as if that helped things. But she realized that she didn’t need to be judgmental of others, and became much more open-minded. I was curious so I just checked all their Wikipedia pages, only one said he was gay, several were straight (at least in so far as marrying women). But it didn’t say anything for some, so some unknown.

Bisexuals exist. Part of the Ed Kemper Mugshot Art T-Shirt in other words I will buy this reason we’re so undercounted in the population is the assumption that if you’re married to someone of the same gender as you then you’re gay/lesbian, and if you’re in a M/F marriage then you’re straight. Think about it: unless you/your spouse has got something queer going on with gender, if you get married you’re going to be in one of those two camps! But you don’t stop being bi when you put a ring on your finger, right? So it’s not reliable to guess someone’s sexuality based on the respective genders of them and their partner. The writer of the song said it was about hanging out with his friends and for everyone. He has no problem with it being used as a gay anthem or anyone’s anthem though.
