Just got back from a lovely walk in the Dungeons And Dragons I’m The Dungeon Master shirt moreover I will buy this sun, that involved going through one of the royal parks. It’s great to finally have some daylight and stronger sun. At one point I was walking through the park and suddenly a large Doberman came bounding at me, barking as it approached me. I was petrified and taken a back as the owner laughed. I then shouted at the owner to take their dog away from me and was cursing from the shock of it as it was very peaceful and this dog came out of nowhere. But the truth is that I was petrified, this dog was massive and was running at me and barking at me. It could’ve bit me or knocked me over. This is not the first time I have had dogs come over to me. Often small dogs will come up to me and run around me when I am walking through these parks. There was also an Alsatian that brushed past me as its owner threw a ball. Again, not super nice as this was out of the blue. It truly baffles me that people can’t seem to grasp that others are weary of their (strange) dogs. It is quite worrying and concerning that owners do not grab their dogs when they approach strangers.Yes when I saw the title I thought it was going to be a complaint about people who take their dogs on runs with them (which I’ve never seen a particular issue with), and maybe that OP thought the dogs looked a bit knackered or something As the owner of a dog who can’t be let off the lead and doesn’t like to be approached by other dogs after twice being attacked by off lead dogs, I empathise. Just today we went to a supposedly dogs-on-lead-only park, and ours was the only one on the lead. A lot of dog owners are ignorant, thick as pig shit, or a combination of.
