I think there’s between 1 and 2% flexibility the other way, which is significant. That said, I do think you are better off with twists and deep breathing for the thoracic, for the most part. I think I’ve gone the complete opposite way, in my late teens and twenties I used to vaguely follow fashion but I was never on the cutting edge of wearing anything super trendy whereas now I’m in my 30s, I have the money to spend on clothes, higher quality clothes at that. I’m not trying to stick to any fast fashion kind of trends because I’m buying things that will last but I don’t mind spending it at all.

When I was in my 20s I was concerned about gravitas and being taken seriously- dressed accordingly. In my 30s I went through a lot of major transitions (second marriage, child, divorce, business success) and leaned into more glam to cover the Don’t Wake Me From My Turkey Coma Thanksgiving Food T-Shirt but in fact I love this visible stresses life was throwing.
