It’s a terrible thing to not feel in control of one’s own being, to feel ephemeral. Learning to see emotions not as fundamental to the Detroit Lions Caricatures 2023 NFC North Champions Signatures shirt in addition I really love this self but as an important part of the mental environment in which the self must exist, can help people become accountable for their own emotional inventory. I wouldn’t say my sense of identity changes with my emotional state but rather my identity encompasses the wide arrange of emotions and feelings I am able to experience. Yeah, I think we just have fundamentally philosophical differences on the nature of the self. I wish I could understand what you see as the self that is not emotions or feelings. I just don’t see anything metaphysical beyond what I’m feeling but that doesn’t mean I have less control. For me it just is freeing me to accept my negative feelings/side and work on it. In my mind if I tried to disconnect myself from my emotions then it feels like the natural course of action would be to bottle up emotions and give me less control over working on myself. Obviously that isn’t how you feel and I should stop assuming my way is better. It certainly works better for me but you aren’t me. Sorry if I came off as a dick in this conversation.

If there’s a problem big enough for you to burden me with the Detroit Lions Caricatures 2023 NFC North Champions Signatures shirt in addition I really love this knowledge that you’re unhappy, and I have the ability to help, then I should do so, because I want you to be happy; from the flip side, if I have a problem I know you can’t help with, or I don’t want you to help with, I’ll just never bring it up, assuming that my unhappiness would also make you unhappy. Yep. I don’t understand the “i tell you things but i don’t want you to do anything, just be around like an inanimated object”. It feels like they are wasting my time and they could achieve the same thing by talking to an actual inanimate object. They want someone to care about them or tell them that they aren’t insane for feeling stressed about the problem. They want a person to listen to them. Sounds like maybe you just aren’t capable of that? they could open with that. “am I insane for feeling [insert the vent]?” that gives an idea of what you want the other person to do.
