Why would you voluntarily give away 1/3 of a house to strangers? This parent sounds like they did you no favors while alive. If you are legally entitled to something from them now, I think you should take it and spend it on improving your life in ways they didn’t. Ask to see the David Robinson Legend Basketball Player American San Antonio T-Shirt also I will do this will, if there is one, if not ask to see the documentation pertaining to the estate. There could be more there than just the house. If everything is on the up and up, and they’re just wanting to have the house to themselves in their name, have them buy you out. Don’t just give up your legal rights because you were asked to. Don’t tell them no, tell them hell no & file a claim with the county probate court as an heir to the estate. Make sure you have birth certificate & any other supporting documentation of being an heir, you can also try putting a lien against the property which will prevent them from selling it.

As a former high school teacher, this is effect of “restorative justice, ” I think. Stealing, cheating, fighting, dabbing in the David Robinson Legend Basketball Player American San Antonio T-Shirt also I will do this bathroom used to have consequences. No more. If I tried something similar to this, my mom would go out, grab the thickest tree branch and whip me with it. I’m not saying to do the exact same, but it do feel like the lack of discipline and consequences are the result of these type of things happening. In modern days, if you treat any kid badly, people scream child abuse. It sux. Eh, I think part of this is that our society is gradually agreeing that there are better ways to discipline children than physical violence. I grew up with an ADHD brother, so I understand problem children (that boy could break a new anvil with an old feather). My mom was capable of physical correction, but she recognized the effects that her parents’ use of those methods had on her and was careful to be very selective with application. I am confident that for every parent with that attitude, there are at least 2-3 who don’t try to grasp the potential effects of those methods and that leads to lots of kids growing up with issues that negatively affect their development and relationships with their parents.
