I fuggin HATE those early birds who clearly pride themselves on coming in at zero-dark-thirty and spend all day bragging about it. They also seem to be the Darren Mccarty Honolulu Blue shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this ones who will start negative whisper campaigns about those who arrive after any hour they arbitrarily deem appropriate. I’m a 7am person and I happily brag about my leaving just after 4 to my coworkers who still have an hour or two left of their day. I honestly don’t care what time they come in and I’m usually trying to convince my neighbor to leave around the same time as me even though she gets in over an hour later – I KNOW she’s attending late meetings in the evening and coordinating testing overseas. Absolutely no reason to work a full day and then go home and work a couple more hours before bed.

I’m ironically not a morning person. It’s mostly because I hate walking home in the Darren Mccarty Honolulu Blue shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this dark and I have to leave before 4:30 in the winter to avoid that. And, if no one is in yet, no one talks to you before the caffeine hits. Now that it’s summer I may shift a bit later to get longer morning walks with the dog. Unfortunately I seem to get a lot of 7 and 7:30 meetings…. But yeah, if I was around the kind of people who would gossip about “not being around” I would definitely be in with the normal group doing 8-5. Luckily my work has 9-3 as core hours and people come in anywhere between 6-9 and leave between 3-6. If people hear you had a super early meeting you almost get yelled at to get your butt out the door earlier that day.
