I could care less about keeping my blood line going. We aren’t royalty my genes ain’t special. My father had the bad stuff I have and life was hard for him sometimes but also good, and the dozens of us who descended from him, my litter of siblings and their gaggle of kids and my one great nephew so far, all seem pretty okay with being forced into existence, including my one nephew who also has the diagnosis. So I don’t feel bad about wanting to pass on a random selection of every other chromosome to someone who is pretty likely to overcome that shit to a similar degree as the rest of us have.
