Of course there are founder who care about employees, my comment is based on personal experiences and observations. Start ups in India are extremely exploitative this is why when I joined a startup-ish company, I went to one which is profitable and doesn’t take funding left right and centre for existential needs. Take all responses with a pinch of salt. But there are companies which have policies, unwritten rules, principles and culture that support and sustain such teams. I was very happy in Oracle; I got hikes, did multiple travel and got two promotion; I learned and developed my career there. Good culture and lot of good peole around.
