I am a Sales Manager in a very large, well known tech company. If someone told me they are in an interview because of the money it would be an instant no. Have some tact. Show me you have some soft skills. If you can’t show me those things I am afraid of what you will do in front of my customers. I completely agree. One of my biggest tricks for sales is acting like i don’t give a shit if you buy it or not. I’m literally offering this to you because it will help you in some way. In my experience, only wanting money leads to a more sheisty (sp?) salesman, not one who can really bring in the big bucks, IE, repeat customers.

Gotta know your audience. Works less in a corporate sale setting but if you’re selling cars then yeah it’ll work.
