So, this happened to me couple of times. During my job interview I was asked what was the Cliffs of Insanity The Princess Bride shirt moreover I love this biggest motivation to wake me up in the morning and go to work and give my best. I said multiple times, that I don’t have anything to hide and that from my point of view we all do this what we do is because of our salary and money. The one who says that salary is not everything, either lies to us or has a salary which allows him to not care what grocery has discount but what color is the package. It’s not that the stuff like a house, car, motorcycle, vacation, dentist and my cat can be bought with “feeling of contribution” and “opportunity to grow and being part of a major history ” is going to be an acceptable payment currency in a store or a bank when taking a loan. Also, the bigger the salary the bigger my motivation to give 100% of my knowledge and experience. 90% of the hiring and HR Managers look at me with discuss and no approval face gesture. Seriously, why are the obvious thing’s neglected and the trivial things pushed forward?I’ve said it before. It was less direct but they said why ahve you chosen this roles rather x other role and I just said “if I’m totally honest I don’t think the other role pays enough to be worth my time”. They said they really appreciate someone being honest said it was refreshing and offered me the job. It can work. It seems the jobs that hate that reply are often the ones where its the most true – for example back in my retail days managers would be so confused that I would declare my only interest in the role is the money’s at the end of the month.

“I wasn’t being properly valued for my time” sounds self assured and confident, and aware of your own abilities. That’s a really good way of putting it, as it also sets expectations for them of what would keep you happy as a worker (that they are really happy with, and dont want to lose). If they respond positively to that in an interview, I’d argue that’s a good sign. I interviewed hundreds of people in my career and probably 2-3% say “the Cliffs of Insanity The Princess Bride shirt moreover I love this money.” I don’t count it against them. I usually tell them if the job didn’t pay well none of us would be here for this. Exactly. An interview isn’t a time for you to tell a potential employer what you want. It’s a time for you to sell yourself to said employer.
