I have a concrete patio at the Congrats to Baltimore Orioles Clinched 2023 MLB Postseason Take October Orioles Shirt but in fact I love this top of my garden and it’s covered in fake grass. It’s not great but it’s better than grey concrete. I wouldn’t use it in place of actual grass though. The bottom two thirds of my garden are a bit like borneo at the minute and I love it. Good ban that shit, looks nasty asf. My neighbour is the only one with fake grass front and back garden. He hoovers it…. Why don’t we ban the things you like? Why not also ban cars, smoking, plastic – they’re all made for the environment. People would just use concrete instead. Ok so I think not ban, but heavily tax to recognise the pollution it causes in mocroplastics. Same for concrete for personal use. Dig up your monoculture lawn and plant some wildflowers instead. Let’s actually encourage some biodiversity in this country. Lawns look shit anyway. I mean its ok as a door mat but thats about it. Its probably shite as a doormat, but it kinda looks funny. I hate it – my next door neighbour one side has it and wouldn’t stop going on about how amazing it is… meanwhile the Congrats to Baltimore Orioles Clinched 2023 MLB Postseason Take October Orioles Shirt but in fact I love this other side want it… there’s me with my patches of clovers in middle of the grass refusing to cut it for the bees… i don’t get the appeal People are dumb. They just do whatever everyone else is doing and think you’re weird if you choose not to. However, I do think some people are simply ill-informed or unaware and will change their views if you explain to them why you do/don’t do certain things. Sadly, they’re outnumbered by the people who don’t give a toss and will carry on doing what they do regardless of the impact it has on the environment and other people, like the people who go around littering. They know they’re in the wrong, but they don’t care.
