For back gardens? Yeh if you cant be bothered to cultivate a lawn and/or flowerbeds i’d rather people just let weeds grow Because I have a tiny garden in London with a lovely tree at the Colorado Buffaloes Vs Colorado State Rams 2023 shirt in contrast I will get this end. Which means grass really won’t grow. Weeds even struggle. We tried , and tried , and tried. So we put down a fabric mesh ( not plastic) and some very good quality fake grass with drainage slots in and it’s been awesome since. The planters at the side built up is where I grow stuff to eat . I’ve just finished the last of last years tomato chutney. The peppers are dried and shredded and stored for use in cooking . Better than slabs or decking which rots , so we have the best of both. I have a friend in Wales who has some of the off cut of mine on his balcony of his flat so he can have “grass” rather than a resin deck. I bought a flat with fake grass, and although replacing it with turf is on the big list of things still to do, it is quite easy to maintain, doesn’t look awful, not itchy to lie on and stays nice and warm which I do like. Also had no issues with drainage

I agree it’s hideous and bad for the Colorado Buffaloes Vs Colorado State Rams 2023 shirt in contrast I will get this environment but you have to draw a line on what you ‘let’ people do in their lives and with their property. Nanny state idea. It doesn’t always look crap, it depends on how it’s used and the quality of it, but it is always bad for the environment. I don’t think it should be banned. Some people, especially the old or disabled can benefit from the easy maintenance, allowing them to have something that resembles a tidy grass area. I also don’t blame people for turning to it. People’s lives are often busier than ever and I think it’s fair to say the general quality of life has been declining for a while. People have less free time and grass can take considerable effort to maintain when you consider scarifying, aeration, feeding, and watering.
