Exactly! And there’s absolutely no 100% guarantee that your kids will want to look after you in old age or they might want to but be unable to! Last thing on my mind when I had a child is whose gonna take care of me when I’m old.. it’s crazy that people just rudely ask that to people without children like who the Colorado Buffaloes Culture shirt but in fact I love this fuck asked you.. I hate the older generation that just think we owe them everything.. it always is about them.. my MIL was asking my SIL for kids the other day and I wanted to blurt out you don’t even visit the ones you got often smh and my mom is the same way. — these are boomer grandparents by the way. I’d point out all the retirement homes full of lonely old ppl whose kids don’t even visit, let alone take care of them. I had two close friends whose children have moved away from the UK to lead their own lives, one who son moved to the USA and the other’s two children to moved to Australia (Which is fair enough in my book).

But I often think. So much for having children for the Colorado Buffaloes Culture shirt but in fact I love this horrible reason of having them to look after you in your old age. I lived just down the road from my mother and when my father passed I could not ‘Look after her’ I had a house to pay for and worked long hours in London. I had every other weekend to myself and visited my mother for a couple of hours every two or three weeks. I do not have children and have no regrets other than I was not really able to ‘look after my mother’ and I was just down the road! Exactly, if you become parents because other people pressure into it then you might always regret it. My wife and I knew we wanted kids and went through several years of fertility treatment before we had our twins. Because if all the work, we were certain we wanted them and it has been everything we could have hoped for.
