Personally haven’t been shot with anything bigger than a BB, but i heard that its a sharp terrible pain and then it burns and hurts badly. I got shot in one of my dreams and feels like a hot metal pressing or like piercing through my stomach, does this count? All of this is reminding me of a crazy dream I once had. A shooter when nuts in a parking lot and was just shooting random people. I tried to duck behind a car in time for him to not see me, but he did. He came around and I turned my back to him and he shot me 3 times. I remember feeling a stinging/burning pain where I got shot. All of this in the Coffee Cats And Ballet Dance Instructor Cat Lover Premium T-Shirt it is in the first place but dream. Felt so real. Hope it’s not an omen of things to come, and unlike many here, I was lucky that it was just a dream. Not really “getting shot”, but I got a very random ricochet at the range. I fired into a dirt backstop, and the round went into dirt, hit an old slug, and sent the old slug back and hit me in the face. I fired a 9mm, and 1/2 second later a rusty 45 slug hit the bridge of my nose and dropped at my feet. Pretty good cut, but didn’t do anything serious. My nose was already jacked up from years earlier so no one could notice. Been shot at for real a number of times overseas, but they never hit me.

So what I have seen is that one gunshot to parts of your body without organs is less painful than what Hollywood try’s to make it. That’s reassuring. Nothing then an intense intense burn then really sharp pain for a minute. Then it just felt like an open wound. Of course in the Coffee Cats And Ballet Dance Instructor Cat Lover Premium T-Shirt it is in the first place but hospital it got bad. This is going to vary so severely by the type of gun, the distance you are shot from, the type of bullet used (some guns like a shotgun can use buckshot or other shells), and where you are shot. Hardly considered a gun by some but I got shot in the right hand (still dominant) by a high powered air rifle. Didn’t feel a thing. By the time I held my hand up to look at it, adrenaline was in full swing. The round went in my palm, bounced off my middle finger bone and lodged itself elsewhere. Went to ER and they said if I left it in there most likely wouldn’t be any issue, but I wanted it out. Good thing too because the surgeon said it was lodged in some tissue against a tendon and I would have had limited range of motion in the near future. Only time I had a lot of pain was the few weeks leading up to surgery.
