World Famous 100% American Huy Fong Sriacha Sauce doesn’t need to be refrigerated. Every Pho house keep their Sriacha bottles on the Buffalo Strong Pray For Buffalo Red & Black T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this table along with the Hoising Sauce. I put it in the fridge not because it needs it but I want it to be close to other condiments so I can grab it easier. It’s the same reason medicine like tylenol has expiration dates even though it doesn’t expire nearly as quickly as the date on the bottle suggests, it’s just a legal way for the manufacturer to not get sued. I don’t get the correlation but it won’t make you sick and depending on what you’re making you may not want it to be cold. Some like the taste better. Why does it matter if it’s I. The fridge or not?? Of your hot sauce says ‘refrigerate’ after opening, you must have some super basic and really shifty hot sauce.

Most hot sauce, and I don’t just mean ‘any good hot sauce’, I mean most hot sauce full stop, does not require refrigeration. Or rather, it will remain unspoiled at room temperature for YEARS before possibly going bad. Most have a high vinegar and salt content( and frequently some other ingredients) which inhibit bacteria growth. You’re trying to preserve its color. It might not go bad, but simpler sauces like Tabasco will start going from its usual bright red to a duller, brownish red it opened then left at room temp.
