The only thing you can expect from YouTube is what you already have.. if that is not enough, then a person should not be starting YouTube =P I agree. While time-consuming, I absolutely love the Bon Jovi 40th anniversary 1983 2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt but in fact I love this editing process. It’s so satisfying when it all comes together. I’ve been successful at Facebook and I want to get better at videography so YouTube is the next chapter and challenge. Honestly? I feel like I’m kind of a big fish in a little pond. My videos are quite popular in an extremely small niche. Because of this, I’ve developed a lot of relationships with small business owners in my niche and get lots of free stuff. So while I only get maybe $100-$200 a month from YouTube, I do get compensated from my community. My responsibility to the shop owners and the community keeps me going (and wanting the free stuff to keep flowing doesn’t hurt either). Plus, my videos are of me crafting which is a creative outlet for me. I love creating and sharing them with my community, and hearing how people take inspo from them. It’s honestly the filming/editing/uploading part that makes me want to quit! But love the finished product and results. I’m a crafter at heart, not a YouTuber. YouTube is just my vehicle to put my art out into the world!

I’m in the Bon Jovi 40th anniversary 1983 2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt but in fact I love this very lucky position of not having a job (or intending to get one), so I have all the free time in the world to game and mess around with videos now my kids are all in school. I was wasting my free time before, now I have this little project to keep me busy and my mental health is thriving. oh but we do get compensation in the form of really positive comments. Surely you’ve uploaded a video and after some time you’ve seen a comment or more on it absolutely praising the shit out of the editing or content or some other quality of it. The sense of achievement I guess. It’s hard to stay motivated at times, but when you see the final product of your work it gives you the boost to start working on the next one. It helps when YT pushes your video and you get some views too, at least you see that your work is visible to someone and in the ocean of content they choose to click on your video. Mine is an educational channel ,where I explaine school level Math concepts with applications. And that is a difficult niche to grow. But my passion for Math , dream to help people out, knowledge and , in the course of this journey, the love for video editing that I have developed , act as the driving forces for me. So, I will keep going
