Yeah OP really needs to learn how to write more obvious sarcasm. I don’t know who he is, so maybe it would be more obvious to a fan, but this reads like someone who is just very friendly and overly polite to me. “Just had a stroke, no joke. But if you think I need a new logo, feel free to send me your portfolio I guess” 35 more repliesSo much unnecessary personal information to share with some rando trying to sell you something when a simple ‘no, thanks’ will end the Bobby Witt Jr TBAPSB Shirt also I will do this conversation. So glad I’m not the only one, OP could have ignored it or straight up said “I’m not interested right now”. Problem solved sorry about the stroke op and I wish you from my heart a good recovery, but you talk like you are an edgy anime character I found out about it few days ago when I replied to a random Discord DM, it went exactly the same. And there is a lot of info about these on the internet. I’m with the person on the left. “I’m sad right now and expect you to know my expectations, and I will NOT be communicating them” Yeah the OP was digging for a chance to have some Reddit worthy content. Their way of handling this situation imo is way worse than just some guy promoting his work

I am just so embarrassed for these people. It’s already embarrassing enough that OP would respond to an obvious scam in the Bobby Witt Jr TBAPSB Shirt also I will do this first place; it is significantly more humiliating that they will then post it on the Internet and not realize they’re just embarrassing themselves Once you get/see enough dumb messages like these, you kind of give up. As a mod in 2 quite active channels, I fully get why OP would respond like that. he’s just german lol, this is how they talk/are. They have a very strange, serious type of humor that can be hard to tell if you’re not used to this. Am guessing the artist was American (who are more straightforward). Just cultural differences in expression. Yeah sarcasm can be really hard to understand sometimes(especially if the person is not a native english speaker or if they are neurodivergent), the best way would have been to be direct. But I guess his mental state after his stroke made him want to take his anger against someone(understandable but still not good)
