Why is this good to recognize? Because it removes almost all justification for negative emotions and actions like hate, anger, retribution, and moral judgement. Those emotions become about utility and their half life can be shortened significantly. We cause and endure a lot of unnecessary suffering because we view others and ourselves as morally, rather than merely causally, responsible. Yes, there are still practical reasons to have consequences for harmful actions, but those who are harmful should be pitied, not hated. They are unlucky to be unfit for normal society. This leads to the Blood Inside Me Pittsburgh Steelers And Florida State Seminoles 2023 shirt in addition I really love this question “if it removes blame for the bad doesn’t it remove credit for the good?” I don’t think so. The bad requires justification, which falls apart. The good doesn’t require the same kind of justification. We don’t celebrate, take pleasure in, and gain wellbeing from the good because someone deserves that to be the case. We do it for its own sake. The good justifies itself by being good.

Fully accepting the Blood Inside Me Pittsburgh Steelers And Florida State Seminoles 2023 shirt in addition I really love this impossibility of free will takes away so much bad and leaves the most valuable parts of the good intact. I totally agree, there’s no “bad” people, just people. People who do crimes and hurt others should be handled with compassion and not condemnation, even if some kind of criminal justice is necessary. And I suspect there’s no free will. But I just feel like I have to be really careful insisting on it too much – there are lots of vulnerable and seeking people out there, and some might interpret “no free will” as being “my life is what it will be, and I can’t do anything about it” which is a dangerous frame of mind. We don’t have free will but that doesn’t mean there’s some “driver” steering us left and right for every decision we make. If there were, then we could just say, f- it, anything I do is his fault, even the decision to do anything I want to do.
