Over saturation. Automation has destroyed millions of jobs in the Bill Madlock Purina Card Pittsburgh Pirates American baseball Player T-Shirt and by the same token and past and people are competing for the few that are left. We look for experience first, a degree is a kicker unless it’s a position that requires the degree, but experience still wins out over someone without experience. Someone who goes to school and doesn’t also work can expect to struggle to get hired in their desired field once they graduate or at most get hired into entry level, although most expect to get hired in at a much higher level because of their degree. one thing i just thought of, if someone finds a job relatively easily and quickly, they probably arent going to post about it on Reddit. they only post if it takes 300 tries to find a job.

The problem is that the Bill Madlock Purina Card Pittsburgh Pirates American baseball Player T-Shirt and by the same token and boomer generation insisted on tertiary education (prioritised over long term commitment) and created a whole generation of monkeys that can now drive a rocket ship. Combine that with women’s rights, race rights and minority groups rights (please note this is not mentioned in a derogatory way), all getting the same study rights and working rights as the standard white male from the 70s…essentially more than quadrupling the amount of qualified monkeys that can drive a rocket ship. Unlike our economy however, supply and demand in the workforce has now tipped in favour of conglomerates because if every monkey can now fly the ship…they can now select a monkey with experience, a good attitude, dedication and reliability. And they can get that premium monkey for the low low price of three quarters of fuckall. Because college teaches very few useful life skills & many majors are completely useless to an employer. It’s even moving towards “what to think” not “how to think”.
