I’ve known people who made this leap and they’re either super passionate about the Bill Barber New York I Comet A Canadian Hockey Philadelphia Flyers Signature T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this industry and love it and stay, or hate the work life lack of balance and go back to reduced pay and hours. I’m in the first group work from home and have great benefits. My brother is in the second group working 60+ hour weeks as an insurance adjuster on a deployment away from his home. Couldn’t do it myself. Are you making 95 with the new offer being 160 with a shot at 200? You take the 160 10 times out of 10 and leverage that into even more money when you find a better job in 3 years which fixes you work life balance. Are you make 95 with the new offer being 110? You keep the 95. I know you think your connection makes you 200 easy but I can pretty much promise you it won’t be. If you 200 is more than a 25% raise the odds of you ever making it there with 1 company are pretty low regardless of who you know. 95 to 110 is a nice bump but not life changing money.

I don’t think anyone can answer this for you as it depends on your values and life situation. If I had the Bill Barber New York I Comet A Canadian Hockey Philadelphia Flyers Signature T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this opportunity at a very young age to make 200k and work 60 hours a week, I probably would. Now that I have a family and enjoy my life, I value time more than money. I am an engineer in a fairly LCOL area. For me there was a huge difference in lifestyle between 90k and 130k per year. I’ve had the chance to go work under contracts and travel. I have always chosen to work direct for the company. Job stability and benefits outweigh the extra pay. Pensions are unusual nowadays. You’d be leaving a job with pension and (presumably) 401k match for a job where you work longer hours with no benefits. What about health insurance and paid vacation/sick time or bonuses?
