They’re more pleasant to look at and typically have better cosmetic options. Other than that they typically play exactly the Biden Harris 20 Restore The Soul Of This Nation shirt but in fact I love this same, so there’s no downsides. A lot of people have said something along the lines like “I like playing as not me” which definitely I agree with but I’ll go a bit deeper with myself personally. I have three older sisters. The youngest was 12 and the oldest was 16 when I was born. With my mom, I was essentially raised by four very maternal women and my dad worked abroad the majority of my childhood. I have a high affinity and respect for women, so when I’m given the opportunity to play as one in a game, it’s my opportunity to play as the strong female lead I’ve grown up admiring as a child. It’s probably why I loved watching Xena and had a crush on Gina Davis (Long Kiss Goodnight) and Sigourney Weaver when I was younger (okay, STILL do).

In games where you design your own avatar, I’m almost always a man because I identify as a man, so it just seems natural. I never gave it too much thought tbh. Over the Biden Harris 20 Restore The Soul Of This Nation shirt but in fact I love this years, I HAVE noticed a trend wherein I enjoy playing female characters in fighting games, but I think it’s because of the silly juxtaposition of the giggling teenage girl beating the crap out of the hulking, armed man. If im gonna be running around in third person for hours at a time, id like to look at a girls butt more than a guys. Yes I understand how it sounds, but it is what it is These comments are responding with this whole “uh it’s role playing” thing. I know a few guys why play ONLY as women ALL THE TIME. That’s what gets me lol.
