In 3rd person RPGs with somewhat realistic graphics, I just prefer spending my hours staring at a female rather than some dude. I like to customize and make characters. I don’t put that much thought into it. Also, some armor designs are objectively better on women. Like in Skyrim, the Athena and Billie Starkz Minion in Training shirt What’s more,I will buy this daedric armor you get for the hircine quest line looks 100% better on a female character. What everyone else said and I am more comfortable playing in that form… also old gamer superstition based off of games being sexist in the past made women faster and men stronger. I want to be faster even if that’s not how it works anymore. But mostly because I feel more comfortable and I prefer my avatar’s aesthetics to be more feminine in appearance. I usually play a girl in the Monster Hunter games because a woman welding a great sword feels a lot more badass than a dude, frankly.

I generally play as a male in RPGs. In fighting games, I play characters based on feel and playing type. So I will play as a female character if she plays in a way I like. I don’t really get people who idolize or identify with fighting game characters, though. For me, it’s strictly about how they play. Aesthetics, armor sets can be enough reason. I played a woman titan in destiny 2 cause the Athena and Billie Starkz Minion in Training shirt What’s more,I will buy this shoulders on male titans was comedically large, and i prefer the self image if lean but strong Mostly aesthetics. World of Warcraft, Elden Ring, RuneScape, Red Dead and GTA Online, any game I could choose really, my first characters were female. Makes getting on voice chat a surprise sometimes for other people lol I mostly play Peach or Samus in Nintendo games too. Because I like looking at women more than men, if I’m gonna run around for hours playing a game id rather look at a woman
