We don’t let our cats in our room when we’re sleeping. Never have and they still love us bunches and get plenty of attention My boy will be dead asleep next to me and the Best you need only three things your body surf-board and a wave sunset shirt and by the same token and moment it turns to 3AM he will get up and either chew my ear or lay on my head. Then, if that doesn’t get me up he’ll start fucking with my blinds. I usually kick him out after that. When my cats were young I started a routine where I would throw some treats on the floor then while they were running around like chickens eating them, I would scurry out and close the door behind me so they would be closed in for the night. They got used to sleeping in their room and know it’s their safe space. They get to act like drunken idiots at 2am in their room and I get to sleep through the night without a cat screaming at my face. We found that the solution to 3am zombies has been to let them roam outside during the day. Has worked wonders on our cats. Only do this if you live in a safe apartment complex type area far removed from main roads or any roads that allow cars. They usually sit in our bushes spying on all the other tenants and their kids. But the stimulation is enough for them to sleep all night.

Lol awww. I’d just put a little box with a blankie or towel just outside the Best you need only three things your body surf-board and a wave sunset shirt and by the same token and door. Rub hands on it first so it has lots of my scent on it and a little catnip and treats. When you go to bed give him lots of pets and tuck him in to his box and say “night night kee kee” The first 6-9 months of owning my cat she had to be shut out of my room at night. She wouldn’t let anyone sleep lol Our cat isn’t allowed in our bedroom during the night, period. We love him a lot but humans NEED proper sleep to function and be civil. There’s literally nothing mean about wanting to be your best self every day. Nope, just be sure not to separate him from his litter box, fresh water source and food source, which must be close by and somehow far enough away from all three things.
