I recently don’t allow my cats in our bedroom at night. Unfortunately we had a poopy mess from our 3 month old kitten who had diarrhea and stepped in his poo and then walked all over our pillows and heads. Very gross to wake up to and now makes me nervous to let him in our room at night! ): Dont feel bad. It happens to everyone. He will forget all about it the Best wilson high school alumni shirt in other words I will buy this next time you feed him…Malcolm will learn. Have to admit I would have a hard time saying no to that cute little face… They know the “routine” by now. They just sleep on the couch at night and we let them inside in the morning when we get ready for work. They are always happy to see us. I have to make a type of barricade on the outside of our door. They will not learn that the minute they start meowing and running around at 3:30 am, I shut them out. Otherwise I’d never go back to sleep.

Had to close the Best wilson high school alumni shirt in other words I will buy this door on my baby girl cause she decided like clockwork at 3:30am to tap my face, nails out so that I can scratch her. I have 3 cats and problems sleeping. I started kicking mine out a few months back and always feel bad but having energy from a good night’s sleep is worth it. You are not a bad cat mom. You need to take care of yourself and you aren’t denying him care so you are doing the right thing. Congratulations on the new little one! We lock our fur baby out of our bedroom because we’re the ones who work hard to put cat food in his bowl and we need our sleep. No guilt! 141 more repliesWe lock our fur baby out of our bedroom because we’re the ones who work hard to put cat food in his bowl and we need our sleep. No guilt! My cat doesn’t typically get nighttime zoomies that disturb us, but he does sometimes start begging for food way too early. Say, 3-4am. Begging includes his very loud meow, scratching at doors even if they’re open, headbutting and pawing at our faces. Unfortunately, our bedroom door doesn’t latch properly so he can just push it open. So if he’s being a real POS I’ll get up, tricking him into thinking I’m going to feed him, then close the door behind him and barricade it with the laundry hamper. I definitely used to lock my cats out of my room when they were kittens. When they got older, they were more mellow and could handle it. I did have a short period where I was just having to ignore them when they were yelling for attention in the middle of the night, but eventually they learned it wasn’t gonna work, ha ha. My cats lost their bedroom-at-night privileges 12 years ago. They are doing just fine. Take care of yourself so you can take care of them.
