I don’t want to be shitty, but I mean there’s already like 2-3 customer interactions that ask for tip, and earn it. Now you want to work the Best mechanic i’ve earned the right to be blunt if you can’t handle skull shirt in addition I really love this counter as the owner and expect a tip? Unless it’s a tip jar, I’m outy 5000. I think it’s pretty crass multi-million dollar corporations asking their customers to make donations, when they could take a tiny percentage of their massive profits and donate that. Hey, I do my job, and don’t do anything to make even a mild bit about your experience even mildly better. Why aren’t you giving me personally more money? /S I work in the nonprofit world and am an avid supporter of causes I feel are worthy (it’s my $ so gotta rely on my own due diligence, right?) If it’s a local charity that I am familiar with, I will happily “round up” every single time, but the national chain stores that raise funds for organizations that do little or no good in my smaller city/metro-area, that’s a firm no!

I love the Best mechanic i’ve earned the right to be blunt if you can’t handle skull shirt in addition I really love this “round up” donations! I always say yes to those, but donate a dollar or 5? No, that’s too much for me. Idk if it makes logical sense, but it’s a block I can’t get past My daughter is in a private school due to special needs. And it’s fucking expensive. We skimp and save every penny to be able to have her in that school. Now they’re asking for extra donation money to give the staff a Christmas bonus. Fuck that! I don’t go around to my clients for extra cash so I can get a bonus. My gym once asked me per email for a donation “because times are tough during corona and energy prices are rising”. I copy/pasted the text and sent them their exact email back, just changed their name to mine. Never heard back from them.
