This is an opportunity. Put your 100% in and impress the Believe 2023 Philadelphia Phillies Thank You For A Great Season T-Shirt in addition I really love this powers that be. Don’t automatically assume they are trying to screw you. After 4-6 months let them know you want to setup a review meeting. At that point point blank ask how they assess your progress. Unless they are about to fire you in the spot, that’s your shot to ask for a raise. Say, I have proven that I’m capable of growing, your considering the future and you wanted to know what do managers make these days. If you want the role have them clearly wrote out the responsibilities that would be added to your workload. Then have them structure a timeline of pay increases. Have that in writing with inked signatures. Get the title, add it to your resume, then start looking for another job. If they give you the money, then great, but have an exit strategy. IF and this is a big IF they want to pull this crap. Have a written down list of metrics with specific deliverables on “I achieve X and I see Y in pay” otherwise you’ll always be “just not quite where they want you” edit Use they’re terminology against them. Say you’re any the goals needed for this to be S.pecfic M.easurebalr A.attainable R.ealistic T.ime-bound In the most positive, excited to get this going way, ask what their expectations are, where do they hope to see you responsibility wise in 6 months, or a year, and what sort of pay will you be getting once you reach that expectation.

see their promises and raise them your own. Tell them your parents (or some mentor) instilled in you that you must be paid up front for the Believe 2023 Philadelphia Phillies Thank You For A Great Season T-Shirt in addition I really love this extra value you bring. And emphasize that you will bring value in this new position. and you will be worth it. Make confident promises and say that being paid up front is a hard line. They will decide if they’re willing to take a chance on you (better odds), or take a chance on some rando new hire. I agree with the top comment. Get specifics about a payraise/promotion and a specific timeline in writing. It seems fairly obvious they are trying to get more from you without paying you and the fact that they would even try this is clear evidence they have no intention of paying you more anytime soon unless you stand your ground. It’s also ok to say something like.. ‘I think I’m currently paid fairly but I can’t accept a larger workload and more responsibility without being paid more. I’d rather keep the position I’m currently in.”
