Does it solve the Bananaman comic graphic shirt besides I will buy this problem of starving children? Of course not. But that doesn’t mean it creates the problem either. I personally don’t EVER donate to charity and every time I tell people that I always get the “you heartless monster!” Look. To explain why I don’t donate let me do some math here. Let’s say you go to a grocery store and do your thing, and like stated above, the checkout asks for 5 dollars for charity (using 5$ because that’s a much more realistic number) and because you know if you don’t you’ll feel bad later, you donate. Congratulations! You’re not a dickhead. After the grocery store adventure you set down and turn on the news. You see that the news is talking about how some rich white mf has just donated a million dollars to the charity. Getting to the math part now, your 5 dollars is worth roughly 0.0005% of the millionaires donation, which is undoubtedly a small amount of their overall wealth.

“But wait!” I hear you say with your crusty ass fingers you “charity is a combined effort! If lots of people donate, that 5 dollars could add up a lot”. While this assumption is a fair argument, overall it is still a dumb one. 200,000 people would have to donate 5$ in order to equal the Bananaman comic graphic shirt besides I will buy this millionaires single donation. 5$ to a middle class citizen more then likely won’t hurt them, but it’s a bigger deal then the people with millions upon millions of dollars. Also, a million dollars is actually a relatively small donation compared to what millionaires have actually donated. Bill gates once donated 78.9 BILLION dollars to charity. The point being, it’s okay to donate to charity, for a lot of people it just makes them feel good and gives them fuzzy feelings inside. But I highly recommend donating to homeless people instead, that way you can actually see their faces light up and maybe do some good for them.
