Telling you to go on sick is irresponsible. Recruiters get commissions so this was all about money. I can guarantee the company they were sending you to would not want you going in sick. The recruiter should just reschedule the interview and if that’s not possible just wish you a speedy recovery. The “blacklist” comment is unprofessional and uncalled for.
