I’m 38 and I’ve seen my share of Israeli-Palestinian shit, people seems to have forgotten the All I Want For Christmas Is Books Santa Hat shirt and I will buy this hell that got loose after Sharon’s visit to the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Second Intifada. Seems like people saying “OMG WAR IN EUROPE FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER WW2” regarding Ukraine and they forgot that in Yugoslavia we had a pretty big war for 5 years in the 1990s. Well the problem is that Russia has the most nukes and is constantly rattling with them. Also, it has repeatedly stated its ambitions don’t end with Ukraine (and also shown it, with the earlier invasion to Georgia). Also, this year’s Israel-Palestinian conflict has already in less than two weeks almost reached the numbers killed during the Second Intifada (over 4+ years). So probably it’s a bit more serious, wouldn’t you think?

All I Want For Christmas Is Books Santa Hat shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Not started by a nuclear power… Noone cares if non nuclear nations go to war.. But world starts to feel like run up to WW1.. Alliances drag each other into conflict No, not even close. Look up the All I Want For Christmas Is Books Santa Hat shirt and I will buy this Cuban Missile Crisis if you aren’t aware of it. And there are multiple men who are credited with making decisions that saved the world. Look up Stanislav Petrov & Vasili Arkhipov. I have to assume there were more unpublished cases like those. Malfunctioning warning equipment, false alarms, near accidents… and they just got covered up forever. Add them all up and it’s sobering that the world had survived this long. And we’re still rolling the dice. I agree with other commenters, the background quality of discourse in the world post COVID is pretty crazy. Some of this is pandemic related, but it’s concerning that the 5G paranoia and far right stupid were before COVID. Some of that is due to post Cambridge Analytica manipulation of whole social groups via media and social media.
