Somebody’s birthday or graduation – like a legit event – Food, beer, and well liquor will be provided. If you’re the #44 air alvarez yordan graphic shirt moreover I love this “must bring a thing type” – a small dessert or early party appetizer would not go amiss – chips, some sort of crock-pot based affair, maybe a nice charcuterie tray? Also, if you want to drink good stuff, bring good stuff. Yea this is stupid. I’m hosting a BBQ in 2 weeks with 25+ people, I’m providing chicken ribs and hamburgers, I’m asking guests to bring a side or a drink. I’m sociable not fucking rich. Think cultural difference, seems it’s American to bring food but definitely not black British or a African thing Yep, bad take if he’s talking about chips, drinks, or a small dessert. I never ask anyone to bring meat. I did however have a guest once constantly complain to anyone that would listen that I didn’t have bratwurst. Mind you I cooked burgers, chicken, hot dogs, ribs, and quite a few sides. So now I just tell everyone what’s on the menu and if they want something that’s not on there they’re welcome to bring it and cook it.

This is most likely the #44 air alvarez yordan graphic shirt moreover I love this cousin you have that only comes over to eat and then leaves with out saying hi to anybody Everybody chips in a little bit to make a good que. if the food is already taken care of I’m bringing the brews and liquor. This is the way. Yeah, I always bring chocolate. But I don’t know how many attend, so I toss them on a table and let them fight over it. im in the middle. if i get an invite im bringing something no matter what, but ive skipped a cookout because they said a minimum $10 dish per person, kids included. that just didnt sit right w me. Which reminds me, I had a party once (I enjoy hosting and always lay out a spread) and a friend of mine brought like an individual garden salad for herself, ate it, ate my food AND took home my leftovers Personally going to a function, bringing a side/dessert/appetizer etc I feel is a fair ask (for TRUSTED individuals, I ain’t eating cat paw salad or toddler finger potatoes) but the host should provide the meats/main dishes. Toddler finger potatoes ????? for some reason I immediately thought of Golden Corral and kids poking their fingers into almost every dish and sneeze guards not being low enough. My go-to is to bring a drink. I don’t care what occasion, time of day, or whatever, if I’m coming to someone’s home I will bring liquor. You don’t even have to ask, I’m bringing drink.
