My eyesight is already getting worse because when I’m not at work, I’m on my computer. That year I was unemployed during the 2024 NCAA Women’s Golf National Champions shirt and by the same token and pandemic was really when it started getting noticeably worse. In social terms, I felt “old” when I had to ask my 12 year old step brother what the fuck he was even saying to his friends when gaming with them. Imagine the comment section on some skibidi brain rot video. That’s what I was hearing. Of course I didn’t tell him I think it’s the dumbest shit ever. He’s a good kid and doesn’t deserve that. After 35 I definitely realized I didn’t have the energy of my 25. But I would never say I’m old. I’m 42 now) still very young When I told my age to some random person who was going to the same party as I did and realized a few meters after that I lied about that, unintentionally. I wasn’t even old, around 25, but I said 20. And I think it’s because no one asked for my age between 20 and 25 so my brain was locked in that answer. So I felt old because 5 years passed in front of my eyes, but I wasn’t really old.

If your 21 and feel your getting old then you are just confusing being an adult with being old. Not being a kid anymore does not make you old. At 21 your usually still kind of a young adult and not even a proper adult. After covid lockdowns ended. I was in that in between area of having a working life but also still having some student life like going out. After those 2-3 years I crawled out from under my rock and going out seemed so weird and the 2024 NCAA Women’s Golf National Champions shirt and by the same token and people so young. But it was just that after covid year. Generally I don’t feel old, I simply never think of it, in my opinion its sort of pointless to dictate how you should behave based on age. Pretty sure no one thinks like that. We all are young kids in aging bodies. So i suppose when you watch your reflection in the mirror at one point and you realize the difference between what’s in your mind and what’s staring you back. But i would assume somewhere at a point way over 30. If at 21 you feel old, pretty sure it’s something else giving you that impression, like the thing about when you keep hearing you’re stupid and begin to believe it.
