I felt old when I hit 40. Given life expectancies for my cohort, I suddenly realized that I probably had less than half my life left. Also, the 2024 NCAA Division III Baseball Regionals Championship Shirt but in fact I love this aches and pains from manual labor on the weekends, that used to go away before Monday, stayed on for a couple more days. I was eliminated from a national fencing tournament when I was 27…. by a kid who was celebrating his 15th birthday that day. He went on to win the entire comp. Little twirp. Last year when I had to start pulling over and take a nap on the drive home from work. Part of that might have been from doing split shifts every day and operating on 4-5 hours sleep though. But i have never felt as old as when i heard “no cap fr fr” the first time and got unreasonably angry. “These kids and their made up language!”

2024 NCAA Division III Baseball Regionals Championship Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

19. I had started a proper career. It was 3am on a Sunday morning, the 2024 NCAA Division III Baseball Regionals Championship Shirt but in fact I love this wind was howling and rain battering down as I stood ontop of a 200ft furnace trying to fix instrumentation. I realised I was an adult. 25 was when I had my first revelation to do with age. All my teenage years I took it for granted that professional footballers were older than me. Then, when I turned 25 I had this realisation that footballers I was watching on millions of £ a week were younger than me, and I began wondering what I had done with my life. It made me feel old, in a weird way Even though I’m a capable runner, I got winded after 2 minutes of sparring and my body hurt for 5 days after each session. My music growing up is now on the “classic rock” stations and on Spotify playlist called “songs old people like”
