You know it’s funny. I work in healthcare and I’m a total nerd about Biology. Evolutionary Biology. Evo-Psych, Paleontology, etc, it always surprises me that more physicians aren’t interested in that stuff. It seemed like such a natural extension. I have always been very touched and fascinated by the 2024 Back To Back Six Nations Champions Irish Rugby Shirt and by the same token and story of that guy named Ishi. He’s supposedly the last Native American living “wild”, meaning the traditional ways. He was found, sick and brought back to a University to live out his days in the care of Dr. Saxton Pope. He taught them a lot about ethnography (he could ID artifacts as belonging to ethnic groups even far away) he taught native hunting and fishing techniques. He is the ad-hoc patron saint of traditional bowhunting in the USA.

His people had been pushed into a smaller and smaller corner of their world. Eventually, he was living way up a rugged, brushy canyon in California, where salmon still ran and he could hunt deer. Just his mother, sister, and grandfather (or great uncle). They were avoiding the 2024 Back To Back Six Nations Champions Irish Rugby Shirt and by the same token and white people, and other natives who had been pushed into their historic territory. Not just them, but every other group had been devastated by disease and violence. They knew about a few others from their band living in similar areas. Eventually they never saw them again. Then one day some cattlemen unexpectedly rode into their camp. Everybody ran in different directions, and he never saw his family again. He lived several more years alone until he got sick and went down to a ranch to try to steal some food. Some dogs cornered him in a sheep corral and that’s where the white world discovered him.
