Back in the Zombie Sloth I’ll Get Over Distracted First Haunted Terror Emporium T-Shirt and I will buy this ‘70s, a movie studio had a film that was expected to be the hit of the year, and used illegal “tied selling” to push a B-grade space opera that they released the same year. Any theatre that wanted to show “The Other Side of Midnight” had to also sign up for a sure-to-flop movie that even had a generic title – “Star Wars”. Case in point: David Lynch’s Dune had an action figure line. Disclaimer: I unabashedly love David Lynch’s Dune. This is one of those things I would love to see in a larger documentary. The people at Kenner talk about making the initial deal, there view and feelings about George before the film comes out then, how that all changed, and what they went through to get everything out. There’s a couple of docs exactly like that. The Toys That Made Us has an episode on Star Wars toys, and there’s a great doc called Plastic Galaxy: The Story of a Star Wars Toys.

Also, Reese’s was a backup for the Zombie Sloth I’ll Get Over Distracted First Haunted Terror Emporium T-Shirt and I will buy this original IP petitioned by Spielberg’s ET crew (I think Mars turned it down, but that’s a little on the nose so I’m questioning myself and my mixed metaphors). Yeah I really don’t get why people are like that. It gives me the same vibe of “You aren’t wrong but you’re wrong,” if that makes any sense. I really love the movies and understand how they can too but like come on man, more people know the movies by the subtitle. Obviously that’s how most will refer to it. lol. it’s so strange. i think it’s exactly why we are in such a era of miscommunication. while making a point you need to be super clear on every aspect of the point… otherwise people bypass your meaning and attack your framing… it’s so so easy to know what you’re actually saying, but people demand specificity. You can’t even be like “the movie where they blew up the Death Star.” Since there are 2 of those. 3 if you count the “Definitely not ‘The Death Star’, this one is biggerer.” in episode 7.
