That happened when I was a kid of course I wasn’t given adult portions but I could actually eat more I was just picky Interestingly, my sister and I were discussing our struggles with our weight, and she mentioned how doing things like forcing a kid to eat everything on their plate (like we were told to do) can foster bad eating habits in adulthood, which can in turn contribute to overweight and obese adults.
