The crazy part is that when they talked with the kids my sister said that they legitimately didn’t understand that they had done anything wrong because “it was just a TikTok challenge.” I said there’s no way they didn’t understand that what they did wasn’t okay, but my sister insisted that they thought it was just fine because they saw it on TikTok and in fact she said the the students thought the school was being weird about making a big deal about it. She said the parents were pretty upset with their children, so at least there’s that.
