It gets better. I hate using most video editors. I can use them, but for some reason it gets way too overwhelming when I’m trying to edit footage of myself speaking. I discovered Descript (actually ChatGPT told me about it) which uses speech-to-text to turn those long videos into transcripts, and you edit the video by editing the transcript. It’s new, and there are some bugs, and it’s way too expensive for me to keep my subscription during months when I don’t need it, but it’s gotten rid a good amount of my editing dread Honestly sometimes it’s the editing, sometimes it’s narration. Every other video tends to get stuck at one of these stages. Probably because you just want to be done with it, but you know there is a long way to go and it’s going to take days yet, you just kind of lose hope..
