My little brother thought Disturbed’s cover of “Land of Confusion” was the Xavier Gipson New York J Xavier Of The Day shirt and I will buy this original, I made him listen to the Genesis song and he said it sucked and they stole from Disturbed No one gonna mention that “Mad World” by Gary Jules is a cover? Its the only version i heard until the original popped on my spotify 2 years ago. Its actually by Tears of Fears and goddamn the energy is very different between the two! Going from “wow what a sad song” to “wth is this upbeat theme i love it” gave me whiplash. I mean, sometimes the cover artist doesn’t exactly go out if their way to give original credit, like the current case with Valhalla Calling by Miracle of Sound!
