30sF here. I still wear them the WWE NXT Heatwave 2023 Shirt in contrast I will get this weather cools down. I don’t care whether they’re in or out with the kids. When it’s getting colder but an outfit looks better with a bare leg, I break out the nude nylon stockings. Also I have pale legs and nylons give them some color. Thank you for the input! That’s also part of my issue, because they do provide at least a little protection in the winter, and I live in a city where I need to walk a lot. I think some people don’t realize that its also a stage secret, e.g. Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, etc. are all wearing multiple pairs of nude tights and fishnets on stage to smooth their legs and look better on stage and camera. I still wear them a lot and i love them, I just turned 30. It kinda depends on the outfit, shoes, and what season it is though but especially in the fall i love nude tights and nude/tan/brown fishnets. Btw they now have a lot of options for fleece lined nude tights that are more like a thick legging, you can also wear semi sheer black tights OVER those and it looks like you’re just wearing semi sheer on your legs, but provides way more insulation for the winter! I used to live in Boston and layering fleece lined tights was how i stayed super insulated when commuting to work

I’d rather see nude stockings than all the WWE NXT Heatwave 2023 Shirt in contrast I will get this black ones that seem to be more popular. Do they still make nylons in colors other than black these days? I can’t tell. There are still some on the market. I buy them in OVP, but from private people as I think great pantyhose makes a great outfit. Not a fan of black/nude. I personally hate nylons, but do wear black tights in the winter. I find nude nylons to not be warm enough and to be too uncomfortable for the rest of the year. That said, I would wear them for a job interview if wearing a skirt suit. That’s about the only time. In general, I think yes. Nylons are no longer an essential to look classy/professional, especially the nude ones. I’m 22 and nobody I know owns nude nylons. The current trends call for more fun, colorful tights or socks which are intentionally placed into the outfit in order to elevate it/accessorize. If you still want to wear nylons and feel less “outdated” I would suggest picking black, grey or maybe even cream or lightly patterned ones- a hint of color looks more intentional, even if it’s neutral, and you can stay “classy” 🙂
