This might be a crazy idea, but what about just buying yourself regular cutlery and a metal straw and keeping that in your car? I hate the Would you be the none pizza left beef T-Shirt Also,I will get this paper straws too. I keep bitching about them because I’m too lazy and keep forgetting to buy myself a metal straw. But I’m aware of my own bullshit. I don’t mind asking for it if I need it. But if they go to paper forks and knives like the paper straws I’m going to lose it. Paper straws are my enemy, it made me hate turtles. I agree that single-use plastics should be removed from use, but the way to get there is to tax the sale of single-use plastics at increasingly punitive rates – promoting the adoption of waxed paper, plant-material, etc. alternatives. If I already have a case of forks knives and spoons, the damage has been done – let me hand them out, and then my next purchase will be incentivized to be a compostable or at least breakdownable material.

Just flew on an SAS flight to Sweden. The meal was very nicely packaged in a un coated box with very Scandinavian wooden cutlery. Way better than shitty poly pro fork that snaps in half when you try to stab food with it. I’m buying a set of portable utensils, I hate going to some spots that give you a packet of utensils, I was surprised I went to a buffet and they gave that. I like real utensils. They have some really nice ones. I think it’s pretty shick to have your own anyway, so many mouths been on the ones in the restaurant ???? NO! First you take my straws now this?! At least give me the option for the crappy bamboo ones. Not all take out goes back home, sometimes you are eating on a job site and don’t have another option.Rutherford, East Rutherford. Lots of Italians off the boat from Campania. Song e Napule is the go-to spot for the diaspora. Plus a couple of small cafes to watch Serie A or San Remo. There’s also some Italian National Parishes nearby in Lodi, Hackensack, & Garfield with Mass in Italian. Also North Arlington and Lyndhurst but less so.
