Did you ever watch two dogs playing? Even if one is clearly bigger/stronger whatever, they still take turns putting themselves in an ‘inferior’ position relative to the Woodstock jimmy hendrix vintage rock retro Shirt Furthermore, I will do this other dog. They’ll roll over on their side or back inviting a play attack at their vulnerability. Now watch what the ‘superior’ dog does: Usually makes a half-assed attack that clearly falls short or misses. If the dog is putting in a good effort you should let him win. It’s good for his self confidence, which is usually a good thing. You can also tease him with the toy and make him get it. It’s like catching prey and it’s something they enjoy because it goes back to hunting instinct. I let my golden retriever win about 3/4, it makes her happy, but I make her work for it. When she wins she usually hands it back within a few seconds. If we’re at a stalemate she flops down and stop tugging so to keep her engaged she wins early and often, which is how she seems to like it. I’d imagine no matter where this poster’s thoughts start they all inevitably end up as “merely a grain of sand in the vast ocean that is existence”

Cute puppy > existential dread Hungry taco > existential dread Broken stapler > murderous rage > existential dread no. let them win once, then suggest putting money on it. then you win. they are so stupid it works every time, absolute cretins. I kid. The answer is yes. The reward response from winning a social interaction is good to both keep them wanting to play and mentally engaged and healthy as well. I used to own have be in agreement with give a part of my home to a Maine Coon, that would have them (The stupid person and the Woodstock jimmy hendrix vintage rock retro Shirt Furthermore, I will do this dog) hiding in a closet for weeks before he let them out. We were like two crime lords in one house. He could have the rest of the house as long as he stayed off the dining room table. No. Feed the insanity, the instability. Increase the anxiety and frustration. Turn out the light at the end of the tunnel. With luck, it’ll happen: your cat will transform into an irrational, improbable floating ball of claws, which you can then loose on the HOA and local children. Cats actually need to win too- when playing with them they need to eventually get the toy to stop moving, and it’s best to reward them with a treat, so they feel like they killed it and become more confident because they know they can do what they’re made to do. I let mine win occasionally but she gets annoyed and immediate shoves it back in my hand. I think she’s more interested in pulling than winning.
